Using Easy-Download Protector for ClickBank
EDP is so secure that you won't even need to worry about hiding your "Thank You" page links in ClickBank. So even if someone hacked into your ClickBank account and could read off your "Thank You" page location, it wouldn't do them any good!

I know this sounds unbelievable, so let me prove the point.

Below is my actual "Thank You" link for a product that I sell via ClickBank and protect with Easy-Download Protector. The product is called Affiliate-Defender and here's the sales page http://www.affiliate-defender.com

Just for the sake of clarity, you'll recall that this is what your ClickBank admin. area looks like:

Now here's the actual "Thank You" link that I've placed in my ClickBank admin. area shown above, for the Affiliate-Defender download.

Either cut and paste the line above into your browser or use the Clickable Thank You Link,
either way you'll receive an "Invalid access attempt".

Now ordinarily, if you know someone's "Thank You" link, then you've got their product for free. However, even though the link above is the exact same link that's placed in my ClickBank admin. area, you still won't be able to download the product.

Using Easy-Download Protector for PayPal
The great security flaw with PayPal is that it's easy to right-click on the source of a "Buy Now" page and discover the location of your actual product download.

However, this is not the case when you use Easy-Download Protector and here's exactly how you're protected.

With PayPal you generate a "Buy Now" button. It looks something like this, though the actual page layout is frequently changed by PayPal - that's no problem as far as Easy-Download Protector is concerned:

PayPal allows you to set up a "Buy Now" button by using their own web based button generator.
 

When you click on the Add More Options button (bottom right of the screen grab above), you're invited to provide a Successful Payment URL. Again, here's a screen grab:

The above screen grab shows where you enter the Easy-Download Protector generated link to your product. Again this screen varies from time to time at PayPal, but the principles remain the same and have done for years.

Now here's my actual Successful Payment URL link for the above product

Ordinarily knowing the Successful Payment URL might lead you to the product itself, but not with
Easy-Download Protector. As we've already established, trying the link above and you'll receive an
Invalid Access Attempt message.

Best of all, when you use Easy-Download Protector with PayPal you can still use the simple "Buy Now" buttons. If you're familiar with PayPal you may know that they offer a complex IPN solution.  However with Easy-Download Protector you can use the most basic PayPal setup with the "Buy Now" button and still enjoy complete security. Can I sell multiple products?
Yes. You can sell as many products as you like as long as the download area is on a single domain. Some people use Easy-Download Protector to protect one download domain for all their products, even if each sales website is on a separate domain.

Can I sell different membership levels to one product?
Yes. If you decide to use Easy-Download Protector to protect a single product, but you want to offer various levels. You can offer as many levels as you like, and call them what you like, as long as you are not also using the script to sell multiple products. It's one or the other!

Why is Easy-Download Protector more secure than other product protection systems on the market?
Most other digital product protection systems simply rely on jumbling up the ClickBank "Thank-You" page or PayPal "Successful Payment URL".  That's a fundamentally weak solution, as it means that as soon as that location has been discovered, it can be passed around.

You can think of selling a digital product much like setting up a physical bookstore or software shop. You'll do everything possible to stop someone walking into your shop, picking a book right off the shelf and walking out with it.

But, if someone pays for the book and then having read it, they pass it onto a friend, there's not too much you can do about that and you won't lose sleep over it. Selling a digital product is similar to that scenario and although there are products that will protect ".exe" downloads, these are far from ideal because the BEST format to sell an eBook in is PDF. Everyone can read them on any computer system (PC, MAC, Linux, etc) and everyone trusts them. Unlike executables or exe's, PDF's are not associated with viruses!
